What do you find most rewarding about financial planning?
I thoroughly enjoy how our work can help make a difference to our client’s lives. Whether that is telling someone they can retire early or helping them to ensure their investments are as tax-efficient as possible. We treat every client individually, creating specific long-term financial plans around their finances and hopes for the future.
What do you enjoy most about working at IFP?
I enjoy being part of a supportive and collaborative team, everyone is encouraged to share their ideas so we can provide the best service for our clients. It’s nice to work somewhere that is continually trying to improve rather than being at a firm that's stuck in its ways.
Tell us a little about you outside of work
I try to watch as much football as I can, I'm a Hull City season ticket holder. Outside of this I like to travel as much as possible. I also like to stay fit and regularly go to the gym and go on runs. When I'm not doing this, I'm trying to entertain my golden retriever, which can be easier said than done!
Something you might not know about me...
I was once a mascot at Hull City for an FA Cup replay against Sheffield United, Peter Halmosi scored the winner. I think it was his only goal us!
