What do you find most rewarding about financial planning?
Supporting clients effectively, building close relationships and establishing trust. I prioritise being available and accessible; I strive to respond to queries promptly and in a manner that is easy to understand. I believe fostering a collaborative environment creates the most effective financial planning.
What do you enjoy most about working at IFP?
In terms of working with clients, simplifying matters for them and giving them confidence that they are on track to meet their goals. Meeting with and looking after, a variety of differing people from all age brackets and backgrounds and genuinely enjoying spending time with them. Creating trusted relationships, with colleagues and clients alike.
Tell us a little about you outside of work
I am married and have two sons. I participate in a number of sports, some with my sons where possible and run most days. I'm one of the managers at Farsley Celtic Juniors FC and Treasurer for the whole club which takes up a good amount of my spare time! If there is any time left over, I'll be in the stands at Stoke City (football) or Leeds Rhinos (rugby league).
