Much of my day-to-day work involves preparing management accounts, processing payroll, creating and tracking budgets, and investigating fee and commission queries. I also process all of the company’s income, making sure funds are allocated to the correct clients on our back office system.

What's the Best Thing About Working at IFP?

The best thing about my job is the autonomy I have been given within my role. At operational level I feel like I am trusted to make decisions and also manage my own workload. The respect and confidence shown by directors and other colleagues creates a very welcoming work environment.

I have varied interests include football, golf, gym, pints and food, much of this time spent with my partner Jess. I’m also a Hull City season ticket holder, which means that many of my weekends are hectic!

As for fun facts, I almost became an electrician before moving into accountancy and I know how to ride a horse.
