Much of my day-to-day involves preparing management accounts, processing payroll, creating and tracking budgets, fee analysis, preparing and checking client tax calcs and general management of the Finance function. I also oversee the processing of all the company’s income and its expenditure, ensuring we are on track for hitting our targets.

What's the Best Thing About Working at IFP?

The best thing about my job is the autonomy I have been given within my role. At operational level I feel like I am trusted to make decisions and manage my own workload. The respect and confidence shown by directors really allows me to shine. A special mention for the people here too – we always have a laugh and it’s the small things that make coming to work enjoyable!

Now for the personal part…tell us about you

I have varied interests including the gym, bike-riding, golf, pints, eating good food and going to watch Hull City on the weekends. When I can, I love visiting new places – mostly European cities with some beach holidays thrown in too. I also spend a lot of time with my baby boy, Henry. I am loving watching him grow!

Give us a fun fact

Not sure how “fun” this is but since leaving college I have passed 26 accountancy exams. I also have roughly 50 hours’ worth of tattoos which some would see as a juxtaposition!
